It’s easier and easier being GREEN these days (nod to Kermit, the Frog) and Powermat is as GREEN as they come.

An Environmental Breakthrough
It is a little known fact, but nevertheless true that one of the earliest champions of environmental consciousness was The Great Emancipator himself, Abraham Lincoln. Yes folks, the truth is that Lincoln was ONE REPUBLICAN president who knew where his bread was buttered (and it weren’t in no oil field). And while its safe to say that Lincoln is not really remembered for his environmental legacy (freeing the slaves and presiding over the Union during the Civil War overshadow his accomplishments in just about every other area) Lincoln left behind an environmental legacy that would take even Bono to task.
In 1862 Lincoln established the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), a powerful governmental agency that even today has a major impact on our environment. He authorized the establishment of the National Academy of Sciences in 1863 and also signed one of the first conservation laws, which helped lay the foundations of the National Park Service. In 1864 Lincoln signed one of the first conservation laws; a bill to established protection for the Yosemite Valley in California.
It is in the spirit of Abraham Lincoln and his great environmental legacy that Powermat has promised to LIBERATE us from the confines and constrictions of wire-based energy distribution.
